The Missing Key to Educational Breakthroughs: Honor the Teacher
"Teacher, show us a sign," asked a wicked generation. (Matthew 12:38–39) This was the demand from the Pharisees and teachers of the law to Jesus. Today, I see a similar attitude—people demanding better results from teachers without giving them the respect they deserve.
On this Good Friday, I’m reminded of how Jesus—the greatest teacher of all time—was dishonored and rejected by many in His own hometown. (Mark 6:4)
Because they did not honor Him, they could not receive from Him. Interestingly, most of His miracles happened outside His hometown—among those who welcomed Him, believed in Him, and honored His calling.
The same principle still applies today.
When schools and communities honor their teachers, they create room for miracles—transformational outcomes in learning, growth, and national development.
